Services at Main Library

Book Collection: is currently 45,000 volumes.
Videos, DVDs and audio books: over 5,500 titles. 
Music CDs - Over 750 titles!
Newspapers:
New York Times, Salt Lake Tribune, Grand Junction Colorado Daily Sentinel,  Moab Times-Independent, San Juan Record, High Country News, and The Blue Mountain Panorama.

Periodicals: approximately 100 magazines which are archived for up to 4 years.
Tax Forms: Federal IRS and Utah State income tax forms.
Inter-Library Loan: Borrow materials from libraries across the U.S.
Copier: copies are 10 cents a page, or 15 cents for double-sided copies.
Typewriter: a typewriter is available for public use.
Word Processor: Microsoft Word is available on 16 machines.
Internet Computers: use of Library computers is subject to the Internet Policy.  Additional information about the computers available to patrons can be found here.

Circulation Policy

bulletNew patrons must complete an application, providing identification (driver's license), and proof of Grand County address (letter or bill). Cost of the card is $1.00.  
bulletLibrary patrons are responsible for all fines, damages, losses and collection costs of library materials. 
bullet Patrons may not exceed 10 items per card. Books may be borrowed for 2 weeks, audios 2 weeks, and videos/DVDs 1 week. 
bullet Fines of 10¢ per day are charged for books and audios.  Fines are .25¢ a day per video/dvd. Charges are assessed on days the library is open.  
bullet Patrons will need to return any overdue materials before additional items may be checked out. 
bullet Patrons owing fines in excess of $2.00 may not check out materials until fines are paid. 
bulletPlease update staff on any address or phone changes so we may continue to serve you in an efficient manner. Contact the library in the event of a lost or stolen card.
bulletPatrons living outside of Grand County may pay an annual membership fee to obtain a library card. Please call the circulation desk for details.

In notifying us of the alleged copyright infringement, please be sure to include the following information:

bullet

a description of the copyrighted work that is the subject of the claimed infringement (if multiple works are being infringed at a single site, a representative list of such works at that site is adequate);

bullet

a description of the infringing material and information sufficient to permit the Peninsula Library System to locate the material;

bullet

contact information for you, including your address, telephone number and/or email address;

bullet

a statement by you that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, or its agent, or the law

bullet

a statement by you, signed under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you have the authority to enforce the copyrights that are claimed to be infringed; and

bullet

a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on its behalf.

Failure to include all of the above-listed information may result in a delay of the processing of your complaint.
